Meetings

General meetings are usually held on the second Tuesday of each month from September through May, from 9:30am to 11:30 am at the West Avon Congregational Church at 280 Country Club Road. Babysitting is available for a nominal fee. Meetings begin with coffee and refreshments followed by a program presented by local experts on a topic of general interest. See below for specific dates and meeting topics.

Upcoming Events

The annual Spring social event will take place on Saturday, April 12th, 7:30pm. This year, we will enjoy a spectacular couples evening of food, drink and comedy at City Steam Brewery in Hartford. Check the Newsletter for additional information or contact a member of the committee (Lisa Pizzoferrato, Andrea Graham, Cindy Pastore or Giuliana Nolan). Seating is limited so RSVP ASAP!

General Meeting Snow Closing Policy

If there is a school delay of less than 90 minutes, the General Meeting will be delayed the same amount of time and babysitting will not be available.

If there is a school delay of 90 minutes or more or a full day cancellation, the General Meeting is canceled and will not be rescheduled.

Babysitting

Babysitting is available at our general meetings for a nominal charge, $10 for one child and $12 for 2 or more children. We have a group of experienced adult sitters available in separate rooms for children according to age. Older children will have the option of completing a craft project. A snack will be provided to all children, unless you advise us otherwise. Weather permitting; they may play outside so please dress accordingly.
